I received a lot of compliments on my hair the day I made this video. I didn't take it personally, rather a reflection on the lifestyle I choose to live which is a healthy one. We spend so much money on hair products that tell us they will make our hair grown long, strong, and beautiful... but they don't work. We give money to Remi and Zury every three months for sew ins, quick weaves, and bondings. I was in the beauty supply store one day and overheard a woman prioritizing. She said a bill was going to have to NOT get paid because she needed her hair! affraid That weave was her number one priority, despite the fact that she had a kid. At that point I realized that we go thru so much for hair that doesn't belong to us. The hair is sacrificed off of the heads of women and children in India and wefted in a factory then sold and shipped to America. I later spent sometime evaluating how much I was spending on weave and getting it done. They money I was SPENDING was more than the time I was TAKING to care for my own hair. confused I could have used that money for something more...profitable. So, I made the decision to do what it takes for my hair to grow out like I wanted it too, for it to be strong and healthy, and I want the same for you.

I remember watching the documentary Good Hair. The hair business is really big business. I am glad mine is growing a little faster finally. After years of expensive hair products that really didn't work, I finally found something that has been working. I grease my hair with sulphur 8, take hair vitamins daily, and wear my hair in protective styles to keep from constantly pulling at my hair with brushes and combs and it has been working wonders.........and of course adding more natural nutrients like fruits and veggies and lots of water.

Yea. I've gotten relaxers all my life and always had healthy hair. I was very insecure in my younger years and thought I looked more beautiful with the weaves so I wore those for 6 years and didnt take care of my own hair. I've probably spent over 5000 dollars on hair and weaving alone when I didn't need it. Opened my eyes real quick.

    Thank you for the reply!

For a man, who's hair may be thinning just a little. Is it a way to make the hair grow more & get fuller? My dads hair is real thin on the top, looks like I'm bout to go down that same road..

It's probably genetics. My entire family thin hair so if I want thickness, I have to wear weaves.

Has anyone heard or tried "hair volume". They're supplements to make strengthen hair. Just wondering if they are good or not or if anyone has any helpful information on it.

    Thanks.
