I received a lot of compliments on my hair the day I made this video. I didn't take it personally, rather a reflection on the lifestyle I choose to live which is a healthy one. We spend so much money on hair products that tell us they will make our hair grown long, strong, and beautiful... but they don't work. We give money to Remi and Zury every three months for sew ins, quick weaves, and bondings. I was in the beauty supply store one day and overheard a woman prioritizing. She said a bill was going to have to NOT get paid because she needed her hair! 
That weave was her number one priority, despite the fact that she had a kid. At that point I realized that we go thru so much for hair that doesn't belong to us. The hair is sacrificed off of the heads of women and children in India and wefted in a factory then sold and shipped to America. I later spent sometime evaluating how much I was spending on weave and getting it done. They money I was SPENDING was more than the time I was TAKING to care for my own hair. 
I could have used that money for something more...profitable. So, I made the decision to do what it takes for my hair to grow out like I wanted it too, for it to be strong and healthy, and I want the same for you.
