Happy New Years? Empty New years and Pagans?

    Post  1_Nita Tue Jan 01, 2013 8:50 pm

Here's a question, so I know Jan 1st is celebrated as the New Year bc of the gregorian calendar, but as you state it is in April to be exact.

I tried researching the history of NewYears, not much came up. This was actually my first year not celebrating Christmas, I have always tried to keep the "Christ" part in Christmas and the whole we celebrate Jesus and even only gave my daughter 3 gifts to represent what was given to Jesus, I thought I was doing good with that theory lol. however, the closer I walked with God I was lead to the truth and explained it all to my daughter about the pagan history surrounding Christmas. Well, that discussion lead to do we celebrate New Years mommy?

I explained the transfer of the calendar, but are their any other pagan/satanist history surrounding New Years celebration?
